On July 23rd 2010, a storm dumped over nine inches of rain on the Lake Delhi
Iowa watershed causing the lake’s most significant flooding ever. As a result the Lake Delhi road and dam breached the next day, spilling the entire lake onto the property and communities below, and leaving behind a landscape of destruction.
This documentary is the story about a flood and a dam breach, but it is much
more than that. This is a story about a way of life. A way of life enjoyed
by generations and at risk now unless we all pull together and decide that no matter what, “We Will Be Back.”
