On April 1, 2012, IMTF will launch the world’s first movie trailer contest exclusively for moviemakers using cameraphones and tablets. We’re talking about a Festival of PhoneFlix ™.

The trailers will be for movies not yet produced, in other words, for movies still in the dream stage. We’ll accept all genres including documentaries and web series.

The key rules are:

1. The trailer must be no longer than 2 minutes.

2. The trailer must be shot on a cameraphone or tablet.

3. External microphones and attached lenses are OK.

4. Editing may be done on another device.

PRIZES

There will be cash and other awards, details to be announced April 1. But we promise that the prizes will be memorable!

EARLY BIRDS

Although the official launch date is April 1, you may enter starting February 10 using the online Entry Form which will be posted by that date.

One advantage in entering early is that you’ll get more exposure for the People’s Choice Award. You also get in for free. (Later, there may be an entry fee.)
