Let’s say you have a great idea that you want to turn into a memorable movie or…a terrific trailer! As you work on your project, you may need advice on topics such as directing, cinematography, sound, or editing.

Whatever your skill level, you may feel that there’s always something more to learn. If that’s your philosophy, you’ve come to the right place. This part of IMTF’s website is devoted to sharing practical ideas from experienced moviemakers. In the months ahead, we’ll add additional tips.

The tips are listed in alphabetical order. But two that might be especially useful listed under the heading TRAILER: “How to make a trailer before you make the movie” and “How to edit a trailer after you’ve shot the movie”

If you have expertise and would like to share your own video tip, please write to Murray@InternationalMovieTrailerFestival.com. For a more immediate way to trade advice and information with other members of the IMTF community, visit our Forum.
